Gabriela Jileva is a highly accomplished Owner, Manager, and Dance Director of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Morristown, New Jersey. Originally from Bulgaria, Gabriela began dancing and competing in Ballroom at the young age of 10, winning the National Open International Standard title and representing her country at the World Cup Championships in Vienna, Austria. In pursuit of her dreams, she moved to the United States in 1998 and joined the Fred Astaire organization to continue her professional dancing career in International Standard. She expanded her repertoire to include American Smooth in 2010.
Over the last two decades, Gabriela has achieved numerous accolades within the Fred Astaire organization. She has been an undefeated Fred Astaire Open International Standard Champion, a two-time Fred Astaire Open American Smooth Runner-Up, and a three-time NJ Manager of the Year and Top NJ Studio of the Year. Her exceptional talent and expertise have also led her to be featured on the Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ International Standard syllabus videos.
Aside from her many successes in the dance business, Gabriela is also highly respected for her ability to mentor and motivate those around her. She has traveled the country choreographing, adjudicating, training, and coaching many of the top national Amateur, Pro/Am, and Professional competitors. Gabriela’s passion for the people in the dance community and her commitment to developing their talents and skills have made her a highly sought-after coach and mentor.

With her extensive knowledge and experience, Gabriela is a true leader in the dance industry and is committed to helping dancers of all levels reach their full potential.
