The entire team at Fred Astaire changes that, and quickly. My fiancé and I are a little over a half dozen lessons in with these folks, and we chat often about this journey going far past why we came in the first place, which is for our wedding.
Kind, fun, patient, helpful, I can keep going. This is how I describe Fred Astaire Dance Studio. A space to progress in your dance skills while smiling or laughing the majority of your moments there. Give them a chance and you would not be disappointed.

These guys are the absolute best - I can't speak highly enough of them. Personally I was extremely hesitant to begin lessons; however, I agreed to take lessons in order to be more comfortable with the first dance at my recent wedding. Brendan and Paige harbor such an inviting atmosphere and immediately put my concerns and self-consciousness at ease - which isn't an easy task. They're such a goofy and lovable couple that not only work amazing as a team, but also are fantastic instructors that are able to able to read if you're having a good or bad day (which everyone does) and knows when to crack a good joke to lighten the mood.
My wife and I have been going probably 2-3 times a week for almost the last year and have felt so welcome at the studio. In addition to lessons there are group classes, dance cardio, stretch, practice parties, and other various nightly events depending on the day. Everyone else at the Studio that also attends are also so friendly and supportive that I'm glad to say this is a welcomed "third space" outside of work and home.
