Sydney Farooq is a Tampa Bay Area native with a smiling personality. She is inspired by the arts and loves to teach. Her inspiration as a dance instructor is fueled by a passion to help people get in touch with their creative and playful selves! Sydney is a firm believer that there is more to an artist than creating art, but through art, the artist can learn wonders about one’s self. And learning to dance is an amazing way to express your creativity! Of her experience teaching dance at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, she says, “I enjoy that I can be involved in the development and creation of something personal and unique. The finished product is a lasting work of art, made with passion and individuality.” She is also motivated to help people find alternative ways to stay active and healthy while having fun! Sydney’s educational background is in Sociology and Philosophy, and her favorite past time is painting. She encourages you to “come dance with me!”
