Feelin’ loco? Spice things up at our Cinco de Mayo Star Wars Cantina party! Yes, you read that right, we are combining Star Wars Day (May 4th…”may the fourth be with you.” Get it?!) with Cinco de Mayo. Join us as we commemorate Mexican history and one of the greatest movie franchises of all time by dancing the night away at our West Hartford dance studio this Friday, May 5th beginning at 7:30 p.m.
We’ll meet and greet, make some new friends and (as always) dance, dance, dance. Students and guests are encouraged to dress up for Cinco De Mayo or wear Star War themed outfits – or both, let your imagination run wild!
Cinco de Mayo honors the Mexican Army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.
Cinco de Mayo is seen as a day to celebrate the culture, achievements and experiences of people with a Mexican background, who live in the United States.
We’ll see you this Friday at the studio!
