Big news is coming from the dance floor! The Fred Astaire Dance Studios of West Hartford has officially moved to our new location, and you can now find us right in the center of the action at 430 New Park Avenue in West Hartford.
We are so incredibly proud of our new space and cannot wait to welcome our current students—and meet plenty of new faces—on our beautiful new dance floor.
The New Park Avenue Vibe
If you’ve been around West Hartford lately, you know that New Park Avenue has transformed into an absolute hot spot. It’s buzzing with development, creative new businesses, and a vibrant community energy. Moving our studio here wasn’t just about finding more space; it was about placing ourselves right in the middle of this exciting growth.
We wanted to be where the action is, making it easier than ever for our community to access the joy, exercise, and social benefits of ballroom dancing.
The Ultimate “Dinner and Dancing” Destination
One of the biggest perks of our new neighborhood? The food scene!
We know that life is busy, and convenience is key. Our new location on New Park Avenue puts us within easy walking or short driving distance of an amazing array of culinary options. The classic “dinner and dancing” date night just got a major upgrade!
Planning a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends is now effortless. With great dining and drinking establishments like New Park Brewery and the Gastropark, there’s something for everyone. You can park once, enjoy a fantastic meal at one of the many neighboring hotspots, and then stroll over to the studio to Foxtrot, Waltz, or Swing the night away. It’s the perfect recipe for a memorable evening.
Make it a Latin Night!
Speaking of dinner, let’s turn up the heat. Our new location is perfectly situated for a themed night out. We are thrilled to be surrounded by some fantastic Latin-flavored restaurants that perfectly complement the rhythm of the dance floor.
Why not immerse yourself fully in the culture? You can start your evening savoring the vibrant flavors at nearby favorites like Julius Peruvian Cuisine or Banana Brazil Grille.
After enjoying some incredible tacos, tapas, or paella, bring that spicy energy straight to Fred Astaire. It’s the perfect opportunity to put your Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Rumba, or Cha Cha steps into action right after enjoying the cuisine that inspired them!
