Brian Ocana is an internationally acclaimed ballroom dance champion and elite coach with over 20 years of competitive and teaching experience. A 3-Time Philippines National Champion in Youth Standard and 10-Dance, Brian rose to prominence by the age of 17 and went on to achieve multiple National, Asian, and Open-to-the-World Championship titles alongside his sister, Karla.
In addition to his professional career, Brian earned first place in prestigious Pro-Am competitions including the Blackpool Dance Festival, the Dutch Open, and the Fred Astaire National Championships. His achievements reflect both his versatility and his mastery across multiple dance styles.
As a principal instructor at two of the Philippines’ leading dance academies, Brian trained dancers who went on to become national and international champions. Today, he is recognized as a high-level coach and adjudicator, respected for his ability to inspire and elevate dancers at every level.
Brian is currently based at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in West Palm Beach, where he specializes in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and club dances, while continuing to compete with his wife and partner, Francesca.
