Biography: I was born in a religious family and I grew up singing in the choir where I developed love for African musical instruments and traditional dances. At the age of 9, I was introduced to an organization that dealt with giving hope and a brighter future to kids on the streets. After working with the organization for about 5 years I was chosen to be among the people to take leadership amongst the students (student teacher) in the music section. In 2018, I was appointed to lead a musical tour here in the USA, where we performed in schools and theaters and held dance workshops in about 23 States all over the US. It was a successful tour and after going back to Uganda, I was given a staff role as dance choreographer. I successfully led most of the productions and concerts that were held by the organization in different parts of the country. I traveled back to the states in 2023, where I decided to look for bigger opportunities to continue my passions for dance. That is how I came across the opportunity of joining FADS and a new style of dance!
