Tammi McAtee has been in the performing arts and dance world for most of her life. She was in color guard and dance through grade school and college, and performed around the country for years in Drum and Bugle Corps. She then taught Color Guard, including dance and movement, for multiple years before becoming a full-time parent.
Not long after, she became a dance mom, where she has helped for many years backstage and offstage with her daughter along with any other kids needing assistance with solos, costumes, or navigating the world of dance life and competitions. Tammi joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Ahwatukee in 2023 which was her introduction to competitive ballroom dance.
Tammi is the Front Desk Coordinator and also helps with designing marketing materials and training new employees in the operational aspects of the business as Fred Astaire Dance Studios- Ahwatukee continues to grow. She enjoys watching all styles, but her favorite dance styles are Waltz and Foxtrot.
