Fred Astaire Studios in Gilbert is a great place. It’s not just a place to learn how to dance. My husband and I have found it to be a fun environment with a wonderful, caring community of people from the instructors to the students that we are lucky to call friends. The instructors are passionate about their profession. They are all patient and supportive from instructing the basic steps, to helping you learn whole dance routines, to encouraging you to perform in studio or compete at competitions if you so desire. We have been taking lessons since November 2022 and have loved every minute of it!

Ballroom dancing has been a lifelong passion and dream of mine to pursue. I finally decided to pursue this passion a few months ago and walked into Fred Astaire Gilbert one random day. I can honestly say that it has been one of the most amazing and life changing decisions I’ve made in my life. As a mental health counselor, I have an ethical responsibility to engage in self care. I look forward to my dance lessons each and every single week because I get to let go of everything and just dance. ALL the instructors are phenomenal, professional and incredibly kind. My wife and I wanted to set aside a night for a couple of weeks to do something different and get away from our 5 kids. We decided to try out this place based on reviews and recommendation from a friend. We have really enjoyed the lessons and the teachers. Taking dance classes has been a blast. After the first two lessons, we decided to take seven more and look forward to future lessons. Anton and Olga are wonderful people and teachers. If you want to learn basic Latin or ballroom dancing-this is the place. If you want to tour the world as a professional dancer-this is the place. We are so happy we came to this studio.

My main instructor, SJ; studio directors, Anton & Olga; and Miss Savannah are extremely knowledgeable in the art, skill, technique, and teaching of ballroom dancing.
