Andrii Drobitko was born in the Ukraine where he started his dancing career at the age of 7, where dance quickly became his life’s passion. Through hard work Andrii has consistently earned a great level of success, including: being a finalist of multiple Ukrainian and European Championships in Latin and Standard divisions. Andrii has taught in the Ukraine the Czech Republic and the United States, which has afforded him an extensive background in helping students of all ages, dance levels, and cultural backgrounds, meet and often surpass their goals. Working with Andrii you will quickly find that it’s not just his advanced ballroom education or talent that will bring you back for more, but a caring young man that makes each lesson enjoyable and productive.

Andrii believes dance is a way to self-expression that no one can take away from you, it often expresses both feelings and emotions that have no words. In 2022, Andrii moved to the United States and continues his career at Fred Astaire Dance Studios-Hamden, as a certified teacher and professional competitor, in both American Rhythm and International Style Latin. Andrii and his dance partner Sofiia Kibalnykova have already achieved the title of New England Regional Champions in the Closed International Latin and American Style finalists.

Andrii always brings enthusiasm and excitement with him to the dance floor.
