Dana’s passion for the arts has been evident since childhood. She immersed herself in singing, composing music, and dancing throughout her formative years. When she joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Dana committed to excelling in the world of ballroom dancing and has since built an impressive career within the industry.
With over 12 years of experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Dana has achieved remarkable milestones. She is the co-owner of multiple studio locations and serves as a trainer in business development, psychology, and dance education. Dana is proficient in all styles of dance and holds certifications in American Smooth & Rhythm, Alternate Dances, International Ballroom & Latin, as well as Theater Arts & Exhibition, all at the esteemed Gold Level. She is also a Fred Astaire Certified Fellow Dance Director, a prestigious role within the organization.
For over a decade, Dana and her business partner, Denise Buchner, have successfully owned and operated the Fred Astaire Dance Studios location in Manasquan, NJ. Additionally, Dana co-owns studios in Princeton, Chester, and Bridgewater, NJ, contributing to the growth and success of these locations.
Dana holds a degree in Psychology, which she integrates into her work to foster the development of her staff, students, and herself. Her greatest passion lies in helping others achieve their goals and aspirations. Outside the dance floor, Dana is a dedicated advocate for animal rescue and volunteers as a mentor with the SCORE organization, guiding small business owners toward success.
