Get to know your Fred Astaire dance studios Morrisville instructor and co-owner Olena Golovashchenko.

Olena is a highly experienced and award-winning dancer and instructor.

• Beginning her dance career at age of 6 she was trained with many world famous coaches.
• Olena has great experience as a dancer and carries many outstanding achievements and titles.
• She holds the title of International Master of Sports and holds an undefeated “Ballroom and Showcase Dance Champion of Ukraine in Professionals “title from 2007-2012.
• Olena represented Ukraine in European Championships and World Championships in Amateur and then
  Professional divisions.
• She was 3rd in the World and 2nd in European Championships in Showcase and was 4th in the World Ballroom Championship.
• She also competed successfully in the major competitions all over the world: UK, Japan, China, Korea, Russia, Moldova, Poland, Italy, Austria, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Chech Republic, Romania, Slovakia…

Carrying this passion to teach, Olena came to the United States in 2023 to open Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She is fortunate to have the opportunity to bring her lifelong passion for ballroom dancing to the new Morrisville location. Olena is so happy to share her knowledge and experience with you.
