A Rhode Island native, Aly began dance lessons at just 2 years old learning ballet, tap, and jazz with Bayside School of Dance. She quickly fell in love with ballet and spent a few years training with Brae Crest School of Ballet, before she transitioned into a pre-professional program with Ballet RI, formerly known as Festival Ballet. There she advanced her technique in classical ballet, pointe, character, pas de deux, contemporary, and modern. She competed as a soloist in the Connecticut Classic, and with a group at YAGP regional semi-finals, which was nominated to compete at finals in New York. Unsure about pursuing ballet professionally, she decided to step away from her passion to obtain her Bachelor of Science. She performed with multiple dance companies during her time at university and upon graduating, realized how much she still loved and missed the world of dance. She has since found her way back to the sport and is incredibly excited to share her greatest passion with her community and to ignite the same flame in her students.
