Rusina Converse

Originally from Bulgaria, Rusina began Ballroom and Latin dancing at age 6. Rusina was not only a finalist but won many Latin Dance Competitions and European Championships all around Bulgaria.

At the age of 23 she graduated as a Civil Engineer and began working for the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sports as an engineer, but her passion and love for ballroom dancing brought her back to one of the most popular BBC TV shows, “Dancing with the stars” in Vietnam. That opportunity gave Rusina her motivation to fall in love with teaching people how to dance. Her Vietnam performances sparked an invitation to choreograph routines for: “Vietnam’s next top model”.

Rusina’s accomplishments on tv initiated her invitation to the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 2013. Her talent, hard work and dedication led to top teachers awards in a short period of time. It was at this time Rusina was drawn to her favorite style of ballroom dance, American Rhythm. She and her partner Caleb competed in many Regional and National Dance Competitions earning top placements. Rusina’s dedication and passion for ballroom dancing inspire all her students and encourages everyone who is around her to fall in love with ballroom dancing.

Her professional skills and talent as a dancer, helps many people to take their first step on the dance floor.
