Arismel was born in Cuba. She grew up in Spain and started dancing ballroom at the age
of 7. Throughout her life, she has embraced both standard and Latin dances…reaching
the pinnacle of both styles. The dance studio became her sanctuary, where she dedicated
countless hours to training, receiving private lessons, and participating in group
techniques. Whenever possible, she would eagerly enroll in training camps. Upon
embarking on her University journey in Chemical Engineering she decided to pause her
competitive endeavors but never abandoned her love for dance. It was during this phase
that Roger and her joined forces professionally, transforming their passion into their
livelihood.
Her stint on, “Dancing with the Stars,” prompted Arismel to explore other dance forms like
jazz, urban dance, and lifts. She also graced the screens of shows like
‘Que Tiempo Tan Feliz’ and ‘The Dancer.’
Together with her partner Roger, she established a dance company, showcasing their artistry at
various events. Additionally, she contributed to the entertainment offerings at Europe’s
renowned Port Aventura World and Ferrari Land. Collaborating with Spanish singers for
music videos and a stint at China’s Hiten Circus during the pandemic year which further
enriched her journey.
In May 2022, Arismel embarked in a new chapter in the USA, joining Fred Astaire Dance
Studios Company.

• 3rd. Place US World Mambo Championshi
• 4th. Place Professional American Rhythm at Blackpool Dance Festiva
• National and World FADS American Rhythm Rising Star Champio
• Finalist FADS Open Professional American Rhythm
• Winners at the Rising Star American Rhythm like: Ohio Star Ball, Emerald Ball,
Embassy Dance Championship, etc
