This Fred Astaire Dance Studio is a great place to come and dance. The instructors are very patient and they make you feel comfortable.
The whole staff is so wonderful and energetic.
The private lessons and the group parties are so fun. You really learn so much with the two combinations. I enjoy coming and learning to dance with these great instructors.
It’s a happy place.

Amazing. The owners and instructors make you feel so welcome. The events, practice parties and even your lessons are fun thanks to the charismatic, lively and dedicated instructors. They do so well at adjusting their teaching to fit your style of learning. I have a Fred Astaire studio closer to my house but make the journey further away just for these lovely people. No matter your level of experience or comfort level, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing place! We came to prepare for our son's wedding and learned so much, while getting in some cardio work, that we continue to go. The enthusiasm of the staff caught us off guard but it is genuine and contributes to a purely positive family vibe. Gaining skills, learning with others aged 7 to 70s, and having a ton of fun make FAD worth the price. Thanks team FAD for giving us confidence to shine!!

I’ve learn and dance with all the instructors at Fred Astaire Shelton through private lessons, group lessons, and practice parties for a while. All of them are knowledgeable, very patient, and understand my dance path.

The private lessons are high-quality, and the group lessons offer a wide variety of dance styles beyond the major ballroom dances. The practice parties are designed around so many fun and creative themes that they’ve made Halloween feel not quite as exciting anymore!

The atmosphere at Shelton is like a happy planet, filled with warm welcomes, laughter, and cheers all the time!

How do I get started?

At Fred Astaire Dance Studios, all new dance Students can take advantage of our special money-saving Introductory Offer! What types of dance do you teach?

We offer instruction for all partnership dances– from waltz, tango, cha-cha, and salsa, to country western, swing and club dancing. We can help you with your wedding dance, all of your social dance needs – basically, any dance done with a partner. For those with a competitive edge, we can also help you become a skilled Pro/Am competitor with your Instructor at lots of branded Fred Astaire Regional, Inter-Regional, National and International dance competitions!
