Ioanna, rhymes with Moana, started dancing when she was 4 years old. Throughout her dance experience, she has studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Latin & traditional Greek dances. Ioanna was born and raised in Greece, and moved to the US at the age of 15 with her family for a better life. She has taken part in National and International competitions, including NJ State Competitions with the Hip-Hop Team from Bergenfield High School. While living in Greece, she studied at a Music Middle School where she was a student of Music Theory, Band, and was even part of an Orchestra. Ioanna considers herself a fun, creative person, with a lot of patience and has a huge passion for teaching dance here at Fred Astaire Dance Studios!
