You know it. We know it. Life is always better when you’re dancing. Your Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios of Arizona always talk about not only the pleasures of dance, but the wonderful things it does for people (relaxation, physical conditioning, mental and emotional well-being).
And so we’re going to celebrate all of that on Friday, Aug. 26, at 6:30 p.m. with a joint production by our studios in Chandler and Scottsdale, with our “For Love of Dance” showcase. It will take place at the Embassy Suites Tempe (440 S. Rural Road, Tempe).
It’s going to be an evening of entertainment for dance lovers, with our outstanding professionals kicking off the show dancing to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” This is one hot routine! They’ll dance to “Flash Dance” and other songs, wrapping with the great James Brown’s “Get Offa That Thing.” You will not believe the fabulous costumes! You’re going love the stunning choreography, the quick steps, the high energy and the pure passion for dance.
The showcase will also feature several ballroom dance standards that we so proudly teach at Fred Astaire Dance Studios: rumba, jive, samba, paso doble, and even a lyrical number or two.
Showcase tickets are $15 and are available at the Chandler studio and the Scottsdale studio and, on the event date, at the door. Visit us in advance, pick up your tickets and take a lesson or two while you’re in the house.
