Astaire Star Ball Is THIS WEEK!

One of our biggest, brightest events is rapidly approaching and we want (and need) you to be a part of it.

Your Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Chandler is holding its Astaire Star Ball on Friday, Sept. 15, beginning at 7 p.m. It will take place right here in our studio.

This is an evening that includes a delicious catered meal, general/social dancing and amazing student performances!

There is a ticket fee to cover the dinner cost, but each ticket is only $15 per person. The theme is Hawaiian Luau.

You will marvel at the skills of your fellow students and our wonderful professionals as this night lets them exhibit the routines they’ve been practicing for just this occasion. The Astaire Star Ball is really worth taking in and taking part in.

Come on out and enjoy the evening, the camaraderie and the sense of family and community we strive so zealously for in our studio.

A study published in the Public Library of Science’s genetics journal in 2006 suggested that long ago the ability to dance was actually connected to the ability to survive. Dancing, the study found, was a way that our prehistoric ancestors could bond and communicate. Scientists have therefore reasoned that early humans who were coordinated and rhythmic could have had an evolutionary advantage.

Hey, who doesn’t want an advantage? Dance is the answer!

Tickets are going fast. Please stop by to purchase your ticket – only $15 for fun, food and social dancing, plus outstanding performances, or contact your instructor.

See you there.
