Alexis Mordvinov began dancing at the age of 5 years old in Kyiv, Ukraine. Beginning his journey at the Spektr school of dance, learning; International Standard Ballroom, International Latin, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and much more.
His passion for dance is deeply rooted in expressing himself uniquely in each style he performs, whether it be Latin, Ballroom or social dancing. He has quoted to say that the “Paso Doble” is what sparked his love for dance and has even cried thinking back on his first performance of it. To this day he continues to learn and be inspired by his childhood favorite dancers, Brian and Carmen Watson.
In the Fall of 2022, Alexis continued his successful teaching career of 11 years at Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Chandler, Arizona.
He and his students would agree that his teaching style would be described as; Structured, Honest and Dedicated.
