Join us for our upcoming summer Beach Bash Festival from May 28-June 22 at your Fred Astaire Cypress dance studio. You will have an absolute blast!
This is a month-long celebration for our students and our system of teaching. Ask your instructor on how you can participate in all of the crazy fun to come! Guess what? We’re going to reward you for taking part. How about that?
Students will receive points for enrolling on new programs, setting new event goals and committing to them, participating in studio activities and games, bringing in guests and probably a few more things as well. Prizes will be given out weekly during this contest and then grand prizes at the very end! You can’t win unless you’re in the game.
We know the kids are out of school for the summer, but that doesn’t mean they can’t do a little learning. And we’d love to teach them. There’s a lot of positive energy in dance lessons for the children.
First, we welcome them at the studio. We are very kid-friendly. Second, dance teaches proper etiquette to kids, promotes mental and physical health, emphasizes coordination and cooperation and also fosters an appreciation for music. We usually start teaching kids as early as 6 years old.
Kids classes can be personalized to each child’s needs. We’re glad to do that! They can continue dancing for a lifetime, so you are giving them a great gift when you start them young. Imagine what a nice touch that would be on a college application or resume – award-winning dancer!
