There’s not much that compares with a Fred Astaire regional dance competition, and Texarama is almost here! Please join us and your Cypress studio fellow dancers who are taking part at the San Louis resort in Galveston from Sept. 13 (Thursday) through Sept. 15 (Saturday).
Texarama’s theme is European countries and our country for the competition is Hungary.
This is a great opportunity to meet and greet, mingle with Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios students from across the region, and support the efforts of your studio friends who are in it to win it! You will especially want to see the line dance competition on Saturday.
Cypress dancers will be in action on Friday and Saturday, but there is plenty for spectators to take part in as well. Come to the huge banquet that will feature a live band, enjoy performances, awards, and dinner. Friday night is professional comp, where you ask any of the Cypress staff for extra help. Rhythm day is Saturday and banquet is Saturday night.
