Alex came to the United States in 1996 and has been the owner/director of Fred Astaire Dutchess since 2002. Through years of great dancing, teaching incredible students, location changes, and surviving a pandemic, he continues to absolutely love what he does. He feels he has put together a great team of instructors and managers – he is considered by his staff to be the fearless leader of them all. He always says that he has the best staff in the industry and the best people in all of the Hudson Valley as our students! Alex has created an incredible family atmosphere here for all who walk through our doors.
His favorite dance is Argentine Tango – you don’t want to miss it when Alex steps on the floor for an Argentine Tango.
