Maharyta “Rita” has been with Fred Astaire Dutchess since 2024. She has over 20 years of dance and 10 years of teaching experience in such types of dance as Ballroom, Classical, Ukrainian folk, and Contemporary.
She loves teaching because she enjoys sharing her experience and revealing the individual, hidden talents of her students, giving them confidence and self-belief.
“Each dance is beautiful in its own way, but at the moment my favorite is Tango. It is strict but incredibly emotional and sensual, in it love borders on hate and makes those around you watch your story with bated breath.”
