Roman “Roma” joined Fred Astaire Dutchess in 2024. He has been dancing since he was 6 years old in many different styles including folk, modern and contemporary.
He became acquainted with ballroom dancing in 2020 and since then liked it so much that now he is very happy to share this knowledge with people. He is ready to help every student achieve their goals in dancing.
Roma’s favorite dance is the Rumba. “Rumba is danced as a serious and romantic dance that incorporates flirtations between partners. I love the technicality of the dance, the sexy hip motions that it requires, but I also enjoy dancing even a more basic version of the box step.”
