Roman “Roma” began dancing at just six years old and has trained in multiple styles throughout his life, including folk, modern, and contemporary dance. In 2020, he discovered ballroom dancing and quickly developed a deep appreciation for its elegance, technique, and emotional expression.
Since joining Fred Astaire Dutchess in 2024, Roma has been committed to helping students grow through dance, encouraging them to build confidence, skill, and enjoyment every step of the way. He takes pride in creating a positive learning experience tailored to each student’s goals and journey.
Roma’s favorite dance is the Rumba because of its romantic character, expressive movement, and technical precision. He especially enjoys the dance’s signature hip action, emotional storytelling, and the connection it creates between partners.
