Elizabeth (Leeza) Dubinchik was born in the United States and began competing in rhythmic gymnastics at the age of five. She was smitten with the sheer elegance of how the ribbon caressed the air. Though the sport was not meant to be, she gained a disciplinary approach in every aspect of her life, to which she is grateful. During a minimal transition, Leeza was introduced to the exquisite realm of ballroom dance. It was love at first sight. She was bewitched by the grandeur of the atmosphere … her soul instantly connected with the world and knew it was in the right place. Over the course of the last ten years, since her first lesson, Leeza has gone to win numerous competitions across the Midwest and became a National finalist in the American Smooth style. She also was given the honor of taking home the Bronze medal in the National competition for Show Dance.
It is her true pleasure and honor to be invited as a new instructor at Fred Astaire Studio Madison West! As someone who loves to help others and give back, she has found her home.
