Group Classes

Dance classes are a great way to learn how to dance while meeting new people in a socially exciting environment. Group lessons run weekly throughout the year. You can come with or without a partner, and there is no start or stop date – just show up and dance!

Classes are taught by one instructor and offer an engaging way to pick up a new dance, discover additional steps, and begin to develop your leading and following skills by rotating partners and practicing the moves with the different people in the class. Group classes are structured to cover fundamentals of dancing, footwork, patterns, as well as the amalgamation of steps and dances. These classes are shared by students at similar levels. Our group classes help you improve your step knowledge week-by-week and are included in all our dance programs.

One advantage of taking group classes is cost, as the price is lower than private sessions. However, you do miss out on the individual attention that you get in a private lesson setting. Taking a group class is a great way to supplement what you are learning during your private lessons. It’s also a perfect transition between private lessons and practice parties.

Practice Parties

A key part in the learning process of becoming a great social dancer is practice. Our practice parties (or Social Dance parties) provide an excellent opportunity to do just that. Parties are open to everyone – no partner is necessary – as all of our students and teachers greatly enjoy dancing with everyone who attends.

Whether you are an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, our practice dance parties are a fun way to socialize, build confidence, exercise, and practice what you are learning.

These welcoming events – held several times each month – feature a wide variety of music and dance styles, making it easy for you to improve your dancing in a social environment while having fun and gaining confidence before showing off your skills in a public setting.

This relaxed setting balances the structure of private dance lessons and group dance classes, providing a wonderful opportunity to implement everything learned during previous classes. You will also learn floor craft, the skill of getting around the dance floor with other dancers on it. This is the most practical application of your dance skills with the least amount of guided instruction.

No judging, just a lot of fun with friends, old and new. We play a wide variety of music for a variant of dances like Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Swing, Foxtrot, and Merengue.

Individual group classes are $50.00 per person. You can purchase a package of 10 classes for $450.00 per person.
