Just Dance!

A key part in the learning process of becoming a great social dancer is practice. Our practice parties (or Social Dance parties) provide an excellent opportunity to do just that. Parties are open to everyone – no partner is necessary – as all of our students and teachers greatly enjoy dancing with everyone who attends.

Whether you are an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time, our practice dance parties are a fun way to socialize, build confidence, exercise, and practice what you are learning.

These welcoming events – held several times each month – feature a wide variety of music and dance styles, making it easy for you to improve your dancing in a social environment while having fun and gaining confidence before showing off your skills in a public setting.

This relaxed setting balances the structure of private dance lessons and group dance classes, providing a wonderful opportunity to implement everything learned during previous classes. You will also learn floorcraft, the skill of getting around the dance floor with other dancers on it. This is the most practical application of your dance skills with the least amount of guided instruction.

No judging, just a lot of fun with friends, old and new. We play a wide variety of music for a variant of dances like Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Swing, Foxtrot, and Merengue.
