I called this place as an idea for a second date and within a week called them hours before and embarrassingly admitted my date dropped me. Backstory: Since I was a little girl, my mom would dance with me all around the house. We had no idea what we were doing but we twirled and spun and danced to Selena and Donna Summer every night. With my wedding coming up (11-11-22), we knew we wanted to do something special together, but we weren’t sure how to fit it in. When my dad passed away 10 months before my wedding, my mom and I knew we had to do a big, grand mother daughter dance to some of my dad’s favorite songs to honor him. JoJo went above and beyond to mix my dad’s song to me as a baby with some Selena for my mom and of course, a bit of Earth, Wind, and Fire to really bring my dad’s spirit to the room on the big night!
Working with JoJo was so much fun, inspiring, the perfect combo of easy and challenging, and she gave us the best mother daughter dance! She brought our old dancing days back to life and we honestly couldn’t have been matched with a better instructor!

My BF and I love our classes at FADS Marlboro!! My best friend and her husband came to this studio for their wedding dance and recommended them to us. We couldn’t be happier that we tried their private classes! We have different levels of experience with dance and we both learn so much with every class. We absolutely love our instructor JoJo! As you enter the studio, a positive and friendly atmosphere welcomes you. In an instant, you feel at ease and are excited and looking forward to this new experience. When I called the studio, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a chance to try to fulfill one of my childhood dreams. I was very nervous and unsure of how I would feel during my free intro lesson, but all of those feelings melted away immediately. The instructors are genuinely invested in helping their students learn as much as they can while making them feel comfortable and relaxed. They continuously evaluate their students’ progress and challenge them every step of the way. The instructors take the time to get to know you. They figure out your learning style and learn what dances are most important to you. Furthermore, they make every effort to help you get all that you can out of the art of dance.
It is evident that all of the instructors there are well informed on the learning process. They take the time to break the dances down clearly and then continue to expand your skills by building on prior knowledge. Cristian has been working with us since January. Cristian and Devyn really make learning to dance fun. I am still amazed that Cristian was able to get through to me. Everyone learns differently, and he is always looking for new ways to break down learning.
He taught us rumba, fox trot, waltz, east/west coast swing, and hustle. Through this variety in dance he has been designing the ULTIMATE FIRST DANCE for our wedding. We kept these dance lessons a secret from all of our guests.

The staff at the Marlboro location were extremely welcoming when I arrived for an open house event. When I first walked through the door, the front desk executive greets me with a glowing smile and a charismatic welcome. When the dancing started as a group, the instructors were very informative and provided a light atmosphere, helping me over come my nerves and shyness. The students and guests had nothing but smiles on their faces. The studio itself has a welcoming atmosphere with openness, lighting, and just breath-taking decor. I feel very lucky learning Latin dances from one of the best in the industry. My instructor Jose Antonio Romero is one of the top dancers (in the world!) straight from Ecuador- who better to learn Latin Dances from! He is highly professional, and breaks it down making it really easy to understand. Other instructors in the studio are as authentic, talented, loving and professional. Jodhar is also amazing! I love that they go at your pace so you are not bored and are always challenged, and they offer more group lessons now. Its great that I have something so much fun to look forward to every week.
