2023 Regional Stage Showcase
Join us for our annual and incredibly popular New Jersey Regional Stage Showcase that you do not want to miss!
The day will begin with rehearsals on stage, lunch with the Fred Astaire Marlboro Team and New Jersey region back stage and then of course your BIG DEBUT! The evening will end with a Professional show, and then we will kick back and relax at a nearby restaurant with the rest of the New Jersey region for a delicious dinner, cocktails and celebration of our student’s success!

Marlboro In-House Rounds
Come and experience what a Ballroom Dance Competition is like in a comfortable and laid back setting. This event will take place in our Marlboro Dance studio and you will share the ballroom floor with our other Marlboro students. This is a great goal to evolve more quickly and efficiently in your major dances. This is even a great way to excel in a brand new dance and execute your new moves in a relaxed setting. We will have Smooth, Rhythm, and Latin dances for you to choose from.

Casting Day
This is a great opportunity to meet other wonderful students and professionals from the Fred Astaire New Jersey region. You will sit and speak with Fred Astaire’s National Choreographer and Regional Director and hone in on a vision for both our Virtual Showcase and Regional Stage Showcase.
There will be group dance classes, light refreshments and snacks to keep you energized throughout the event. Mix and mingle with other students and extend your dance circle.

New Jersey Regional Mini – Match Competition
Come and experience what a Ballroom Dance Competition is like in a comfortable and laid back setting. This mini competition will take place in one of our New Jersey Fred Astaire Dance Studio’s. You will share the ballroom floor with other Fred Astaire New Jersey students in a variety of dances such as Cha-Cha, Swing, Salsa, Merengue, Samba, Paso Doble, American and Argentine Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot and so much more!
We are TEAM GREY so be sure to rock your favorite grey outfit and join the FUN!
2023 National Virtual Showcase Competition
(NVSC)
Itching to compete but don’t want to travel? Do you love to dance and perform? Have you been working on a new routine but have no one to show it to?
Fred Astaire is now offering three ways to do all of that, Enter one level or enter them all! Enter as many types of numbers as you have!
Judging will take place August 12-16. There will be a different panel of judges for each division
All routines will be shown on the days leading up to the Grand Awards Show. Winners will be announced on Thursday, August 31, 2023 via LiveStream and only the Top Scoring routines will be shown during the Awards show.

2023 Regional Big Screen Virtual Showcase
We are so excited to bring to you our Annual Virtual Showcase Production, starring Fred Astaire New Jersey Students!
The movie premiere will begin with cocktails on the red carpet, followed by a delicious 3-course meal in the ballroom while enjoying incredible showcase routines on the big screen. This will be a Movie Premiere like no other – full of creativity, passion, and incredibly talented dancers!
