Fred Astaire Memphis was proud to be an Entertainment Sponsor for the JDRF -Masquerade For A Cure event on May 13th, 2017 from 6 – 11 p.m. at Hilton Memphis hosted by JDRF West TN Chapter. Guests were entertained by our Fred Astaire professionals and students during a live performance, all for a GREAT CAUSE in fun masquerade attire!

Guests unveiled the mysteries of the night to discover who or what was hiding behind that mask. The experience consisted of an elegant evening of fun! First of all, festivities began with cocktails and appetizers while bidding on unique and exciting auction items. Uncovered during the evening was the live auction preview. All prepared their wallets for the maximum bid on that favorite item plus a special unveiling of the Youth Ambassadors item. Masquerade goers were amazed by the gorgeous ballroom décor, entertainment, and delicious dinner. The evening continued with participation in the live auction and learning of all the wonderful advancements for Type 1 Diabetics just on the horizon. Onlookers listened to the amazing life stories and the impact of the support from events like this one plays in the lives of those with T1D. Finally, guests celebrated the success of the evening while dancing to the music for the remainder of the night.
