Mae began her dance journey in her native Philippines at the age of thirteen, exploring various styles, including Jazz, Cheerleading, and traditional Philippine dances. Over time, her passion for Ballroom Dancing took center stage. By 2009, she earned a degree in Industrial Engineering, but her career path remained firmly rooted in dance.
In 2012, Mae relocated to the United States and joined Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Midtown New York, where she enjoyed a decade of remarkable success. Alongside her dance partner, Kristian Sese, Mae achieved significant recognition in the Professional American Rhythm division at prestigious Dancesport competitions. Their accolades include top placements and finalist positions at events such as the United States Dance Championships (USDC), Ohio Star Ball, Emerald Ball, Embassy Ballroom Championships, Millennium Dancesport Championships, and Fred Astaire Nationals.
Mae’s dedication and accomplishments have cemented her reputation as a celebrated figure in the Ballroom Dancing community.
