Mae Lozada – Studio Owner & Dance Director

Mae Lozada began her dance journey in her native Philippines at the age of thirteen, training in a variety of disciplines including Jazz, Cheerleading, and traditional Philippine dance. While she developed a strong foundation across multiple styles, it was Ballroom Dancing that ultimately captured her passion and inspired her lifelong career in the art of movement.

After earning a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2009, Mae chose to pursue her true calling in dance. In 2012, she relocated to the United States and joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Midtown Manhattan, where she spent the next decade building an impressive career as a professional dancer, coach, and competitor.

Together with her professional partner, Kristian Sese, Mae has competed at many of the nation’s most prestigious DanceSport events, earning recognition as an Ohio Star Ball Professional American Rhythm Rising Star Champion and a United States Dance Championships (USDC) Professional American Rhythm Rising Star Bronze Medalist. Their competitive achievements also include top placements and finalist honors at renowned events such as the Emerald Ball DanceSport Championships, Embassy Ballroom Championships, Millennium DanceSport Championships, Manhattan Dance Championships, New York Dance Festival, and Fred Astaire National Championships.

Beyond her accomplishments on the competition floor, Mae is deeply passionate about helping others discover the confidence, joy, and fulfillment that dancing can bring. Her experience training and competing at the highest levels of Ballroom Dance allows her to provide students with world-class instruction while creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Whether working with beginners taking their first steps, couples preparing for a wedding, social dancers seeking confidence on the dance floor, or competitive students pursuing championship goals, Mae is known for her patience, attention to detail, and ability to make every lesson both enjoyable and rewarding.

Today, as Studio Owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studios Palm Beach Gardens, Mae combines her international competitive experience with a personalized approach to teaching, empowering students to achieve their goals while experiencing the elegance, artistry, and lifelong benefits of Ballroom Dance.
