"My husband and I have taken other dance classes and attempted private lessons elsewhere, but nothing really stuck until we joined the Fred Astaire Dance Studio - Pinecrest (Miami). FADS - Pinecrest is an amazing community of dancers led by the wonderful Elizabeth and Michael. The instructors (shout out to Mike and Cassandra) and staff (Vanessa) create a welcoming and supportive environment for any level of dancer to thrive and meet their goals, whether to it is improve for an event, pick up a new healthy hobby or grow closer to your partner. The group classes are inclusive and the progressive series will jump start your abilities in a particular dance then bring your new skills to a practice party! The syllabus helps keep you on track to quickly improving your skills and the opportunity to perform to demonstrate your skills provides a new and exciting challenge. Joining FADS - Pinecrest was the best decision we made for our relationship, meeting new people, and improving our health back in 2023. "My wife and I took dancing lessons and called FADS Pinecrest in Miami "home" for the better part of 2022 to learn the basics and ultimately choreograph a dance for our wedding. Every 1-1 lesson was an adventure, and we felt we learned something new and fresh with each one. Incredibly friendly staff and atmosphere, and an absolute blast every time. Although we could have done the "crash course" choreography a few months ahead of our big day, we're so happy we decided to learn the basics to really master the fundamentals and feel behind our dance, that included elements from foxtrot, swing, and rumba, to gain the confidence and finesse leading up to our big day.
