Anya has spent her entire career surrounded by the beauty and energy of dance. She began her dance journey at just 4 years old in a small town in Russia. She began studying ballet, folk and jazz. At fourteen Anya decided to move to the big city to pursue her professional education. She graduated in 2006 from Novosibirsk College of Culture and Art and later in 2011 from the Chelyabinsk State University of Culture and Art . She has won numerous national and international titles, including the Presidents Award. In 2016 Anya made a bold decision to relocate to the USA and joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Montville, NJ as a ballroom dance teacher. Only after a few years, she got promoted to a managerial position. After the pandemic, she continued managing Fred Astaire Dance Studio-Downtown NYC. She has worn many hats from instructor to choreographer to administrator, and has a deep understanding of what it takes to create a supportive and inspiring environment for dancers of all levels.
