Tiana was born in Bristol, Connecticut and raised in South Florida. She fell in love with ballroom dancing after taking a dance partnering class in college. Tiana has competed all over the United States professionally and with her students. She loves that she has been able to create a culture at the studio that is all about the dancing. She co-owns Fred Astaire Sarasota with her business partner Tim Pennenga .
