Javier Baca Jr comes to us from El Paso, Texas. Javier has danced for as long as he can remember, always loving music and moving to the beat. He was on the Del Valle High School Fuego Ballroom Team, where they specialized in Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, etc formation performances and competitions. He was also an instructor at New Horizons Dance Academy and Protege Dance Sport in Texas, continuing his passion and education for Latin dancing. One of the highlights from his formation team, was becoming a 3-Time Sun City Dance Classic Grand Champion! In his spare time, Javier enjoys playing multiple instruments, as well as photography and videography. He is so excited to be part of the Fred Astaire Illinois family and make St. Charles, IL his new home. His favorite part about following his passion for dance and relocating to our studio, is watching his students grow and helping them find the joy and love of dance like he has his whole life.
