Buckeye Ball “Under the Sea” – A Summer Highlight to Remember
This August, as summer’s warm glow began to dip toward autumn, the Buckeye Ball “Under the Sea” burst onto the scene — a brilliant, joyful highlight not only of the month but of the season itself. The dancers stepped into transformed venue; they were greeted by fabulous Fred Astaire Dance Studios community. Unique and exclusive sea décor created such amazing energy and atmosphere in the room. It felt less like entering a ballroom and more like diving into a living daydream — one filled with elegance, artistry, and that special magic only our dance community can create.
Throughout the evening, the dance floor came alive with every style, mood, and story you could imagine. People were cheering, shouting and supporting each other through out whole event! The theme of the night wasn’t seen in the décor; it rippled through every shared glance, every cheer from the sidelines, every moment of connection that reminded us why we gathered to dance.
A centerpiece of the evening was the recognition of our outstanding dancers and studios whose dedication continues to inspire. We proudly applaud:

As the awards were announced, applause rolled like gentle waves across the room, mingling with smiles, cheers, and the occasional joyful tear. Every winner’s moment in the spotlight was a reminder that while skill and practice build success, it’s heart and passion
that make it truly memorable. The Buckeye Ball was more than an event; it was a shared celebration of artistry, determination, and the bonds that hold our dance family together.
And now, we turn the page toward our next event – Columbus Dance Challenge “Haunted Mansion.” SpOOOOOOOky time! Whether you dream of stepping onto the floor, supporting from the audience, or simply joining in the energy and camaraderie, we would love to have you with us.
