Yelisa started dancing at 5 years old. She grew up dancing hip hop and loves it with her entire being. She was also a 3-time State Qualifier in Speech & Debate, competing in a category called Humorous Interpretation, where she did a comedy skit of a one-person show. She simply loves entertaining people and making them laugh, whether in dance battles or acting on stage, and her passion has grown. Yelisa decided to spice up her dance career by learning ballroom dancing, inspired by some experiences with Latin dancing. Since that first moment she stepped into the ballroom at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Yelisa cannot get enough, and believes everyone can learn how to dance, regardless of your age or experience!
