Every Fred Astaire Dance Studios Dance Instructor is a gifted dance educator with a passion for dance. Fred Astaire dance instructors hail from all over the world. Many have Fine Arts degrees, and are actively competing and award–winning professional dancers. And all have completed the rigorous work required to become, and remain, certified in the Fred Astaire Dance Curriculum — a proven teaching method that was developed by Fred Astaire himself, and is unique to our organization. The studio teaches ballroom, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Hustle, Mambo, Argentine Tango, Merengue, Bolero, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, and more through private lessons, group classes, and practice sessions.
Yes. Dance lessons are designed for all experience levels. Beginners receive step-by-step instruction at a comfortable pace, while experienced dancers can pursue advanced techniques or competition training.
No. You can attend lessons with or without a dance partner. Instructors work with individuals as well as couples, making it easy for anyone to begin learning.
