Izabela is a certified Ballroom Examiner for the American International Dancers Association, holding Fellowship certificates in International Ballroom, Latin, and American Smooth styles. As a World Dance Council adjudicator, she has judged at prestigious competitions worldwide, including the WDC Amateur League World Championship in Paris, France, and the “Freedom Dance Cup” in Radom, Poland.
Izabela’s journey in dance began at age 7, sparking a lifelong passion for ballroom. A native of Poland, she represented her country in competitions across Europe, Asia, and the United States, achieving finalist positions in Standard and 10–Dance Polish Championships and winning nearly every U.S. Professional Rising Star title.
In addition to her experience as a competitor, Izabela has co-owned a dance studio, designed women’s dance fashion, and taught independently in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. With a large and loyal student base, she is deeply committed to helping each dancer reach their unique potential. Her teaching style blends technical precision with fun, making learning an enjoyable experience for dancers of all levels.
In June 2022, Izabela opened the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Ann Arbor, where she now focuses on both teaching and managing the growth of her business. Her dream is to create a joyful, welcoming environment where everyone can experience the happiness that dance brings — because life truly is better when you dance!
