Melissa decided to pursue ballroom dancing after she finished her graduate studies in college. She began training with Yuriy to compete professionally at regional competitions and also performed in an honor dance and showcase routine. Melissa & Yuriy felt they could enrich the lives of others while doing what they love, dancing. Having their Master’s of Education degrees they felt it was time to open their own Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Melissa is excited to introduce students to the inspiring world of ballroom dancing.
