Yuriy has been dancing since the age of nine in his native Ukraine. He has been competing since childhood and was a finalist in many national and international championships. Yuriy also ran a dance studio for 10 years. He worked with children providing International Ballroom and Latin dance instruction. In 2009, Yuriy was invited to come to the United States and join the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Tarrytown, NY. He was a great asset to the Tarrytown studio participating and winning regional and national competitions with his students and professional partner. Yuriy is thrilled to have the opportunity to share his passion for dance with his students at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Cold Spring, NY.
