Goran Nordin started as Swedish Champion and a World Ten dance Amateur Champion. Together with his dance partner Nicola Nordin, they added UK Closed Amateur Latin Champions, British National Professional Latin Champions, UK Closed Professional Latin Champions and European Professional Latin Championship Finalists to their list of accolades.
Based at the famous Semley Dance Studio in London, Goran and Nicola have successfully represented Great Britain in all major championships. Since retiring from competitions in 2000, Goran and Nicola have both been invited to teach, adjudicate and demonstrate all over the world. He is a member of IDTA Latin, member of ISTD Latin and Ballroom and International Championship Adjudicator in Latin and Modern.
In addition to his official qualifications, Goran is using his experience and knowledge to train many of the world’s top dancers, including FADS Colleyville’s own Mihaly Meszaros and Alexandra Dane. His absolute commitment to helping the couples and students he teaches makes him a sought after coach and clinician. We are honored to have Goran available for private lessons periodically throughout the year.
