Andrei and Elena bring decades of international experience and a shared love of dance to every student they teach.
Originally from Moldova, they began dancing at age seven, opened their first studio in 1996, and joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios® in the United States in 2008.
Directors of the Fort Myers studio since 2013, they are Fred Astaire International Standard Champions, International Latin Bronze Medalists, National and World Rising Star American Smooth Champions, Open American Smooth Bronze Medalists, and U.S. National Ten Dance Finalists. They also earned multiple Moldovan National Championship titles in both International Standard and Latin, along with top placements at major competitions across Eastern Europe.
They are certified in all four ballroom dance styles, serve on the Fred Astaire International Dance Council, and are FADS and NDCA Championship Licensed Adjudicators.
In January 2025, they became South Florida Co-Regional Directors and Area Representatives.
Above all, Andrei and Elena are passionate about helping people discover the joy of dance. Whether you’re taking your first steps or pursuing competitive goals, they welcome you with encouragement, expert guidance, and a commitment to helping you feel confident, inspired, and at home on the dance floor.
