Tailynn has always had a love for movement, music, performance and connecting with others. This all started with five years of competitive cheer, where dance, choreography, gymnastics, and strength built a foundation in body awareness, athleticism, and expression. Along with four years of cello training, these experiences naturally cultivated her love for ballroom dance.
For the past two and a half years, Tailynn has trained professionally with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, becoming a certified instructor and professional competitor. She was a finalist at the Chicago Open Interregional and placed 4th in Professional Closed Smooth and 5th in Professional Open Smooth at the Midwest Interregional. She is also completing her bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy.
Tailynn’s teaching combines genuine enthusiasm with structure and discipline. She loves connecting with her students, understanding their goals, and helping them build confidence while enjoying the process. For her, ballroom is more than learning steps—it’s about expression, connection, growth, and discovering what you’re capable of.
