February is the month of hearts. It’ll be all romance and love until the 14th day of the month when we celebrate Valentine’s Day. But the hearts won’t disappear after the holiday. February is also Heart Health month and your Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Lake Houston studio is proud to take part in bringing awareness to the power of exercise for optimal heart health!
How do we plan on doing this? The only way we know how; putting on a spectacular dance showcase! Join us on Friday, February 7th at 6:30 pm for our first Starlight Fundraiser & Mini Dance Showcase, benefiting the American Heart Association!
The event will be held at our Lake Houston studio and there will be student performances, a professional dance show, hors d’ oeuvres, beverages, and more. Tickets are just $25 (purchase here) and half of our total proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. We also ask that you wear your finest red attire, as it is National Wear Red Day!
By now most of us know that exercise is the key to keeping your heart in the best possible shape. If you’re a student at a Fred Astaire Dance Studios, then you also already know that dancing is a great form of exercise.
