Emilio Flores is from Brownsville, Texas, and started dancing at the age of eight. He began his dance journey in the program, Dancing Thru Life, and was competing in ballroom at age nine. Emilio joined Fred Astaire Dance Studio at Lake Houston in the summer of 2022, and quickly became successful as an instructor; He is in the top 10 professionals in the Texas region, and top 40 in the World Cup Series.
He and his professional partner were also invited to perform at the prestigious 2024 Houston Symphony Ball. Emilio’s students regularly place in the top three at regional and national competitions.
In his professional dancing, Emilio is a regional closed Rhythm champion, regional closed Smooth vice champion, national closed Rhythm finalist, and national Rising Star semi finalist. He is known as the life of the party, and loves sharing his knowledge of dance with his students.
