This is a very nice place The instructors are excellent. My primary instructor Julia is very patient and makes me feel ok even whenI make mistakes. The other instructors Pasha and Eugene also excellent. Parking is good and very close to Manhasset LIRR station. You can choose the dances you are interested in. You can come with a partner or on your own. Students come for wedding practice and learning Latin or ballroom dancing. You can try basic lesson or 2 @ reduced price and determine if this place or dancing is for you. Best to all. Good luck if you start or renew dancing.
Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to improve their dancing, stay active and have fun!!!

My fiancé and I are due to be married this July. We both have no experience with dancing, so we decided to take a few classes before our big day. I originally saw Fred Astaire recommended by other brides-to-be in a BOLI Facebook group. The studio is easy to get to and local to us, so we gave them a shot.
We're now on our 3rd class with instructor, Pasha and we're SO happy that we decided to take classes at Fred Astaire, Manhasset! Not only are we learning some beautiful dance moves for our big day, but we're also feeling more confident, and literally having the best time! We truly look forward to every class with Pasha, who is highly professional, makes us feel so comfortable, and keeps us laughing and having fun the entire class!
If you're planning for your wedding and a little nervous about your first dance, I'd highly recommend taking a few lessons at Fred Astaire Manhasset. It could also be such a fun idea for an awesome date night! Pasha and the studio are a 10/10!!

We had an amazing experience at this studio. As complete beginners, we were little nervous, Yulia made us comfortable right away. She explained the steps clearly, broke everything down at an easy pace, and provided just the right amount of encouragement. The classes were fun and we actually learned how to dance If you’re looking for a welcoming and professional place to learn ballroom dancing, we highly recommend this studio!
Dima is simply amazing... His guidance and patience with us has made our beginner lessons so enjoyable. We cannot wait for our weekly lessons with him.
